Since a young age music has a been apart of Soutie’s life, when he was a kid he used to listen to his big brother Dj and watched him program lights for a club in his home town of redditch, for his 16th birthday he brough 2 Denon dns1000s second hand for £250 and stole his big brothers headphones, spent hours downloading and burning terrible quality Mp3s off reddit onto disk just to play them to himself for days on end, when he left school he helped build a small studio with a group of friends where he learned the fundamentals of music production, he started out making old skool BoomBap beats and Drill, when he moved to East London he brought his first set of pioneer ddj 200s (The Monsters) and started to hone his music production and Djing, this is where he found his love for Drum and Bass music listening to people like A.M.C, Camo & Krooked, Ego Trippin, Basstripper and Chase and Status, this is also the start of Narco Records which was the brain child of Soutie and his younger brother, he soon moved into Sandwich kent where he met the boys and after playing in Club Chemistry in Canterbury and various other smaller venues and they came together to make the OffSet Consortium.
